January 19, Vittoria Coffee proudly sponsored for the first time the G’Day USA - LA Black Tie Gala Dinner - for the evening Vittoria was the coffee on everyone’s lips including celebrities such as John Travolta, Harrison Ford and Kylie Minogue to name a few.
Celebrated Australian chef Neil Perry shared the kitchen chef Wolfgang Puck with to showcase the best of Australia’s food, wine and of course coffee to create an Aussie dinner featuring fresh ingredients flown in from Australia.
“It’s a great way to begin our 50th year celebrations for Vittoria Coffee and an honor to showcase our coffee on the evening.” said Les Schirato, CEO Vittoria Coffee.
The Vittoria Barista Team, especially flown in for the event, proved to be a very popular addition to the evening giving guests a taste of great Italian-style coffee made the Aussie way. The Baristas had a steady stream of coffee connoisseurs enjoying espressos during the evening and caffé lattes, the coffee of choice as a takeaway while waiting patiently for the limo – it was Hollywood after all.
During the Gala Dinner Kylie Minogue was honoured for her contribution to the entertainment industry and award-winning director Phillip Noyce received the Excellence in Film Award. Fellow Australians, Olivia Newton John and Christine Anu performed on the evening.
