Special congratulations go to Maurice Terzini who is the recipient of the Vittoria Legend Award.  Terzini’s first venture was the iconic Caffe e Cucina in Melbourne which is still going strong along with Melbourne Wine Room.  Moving to Sydney in 2000 Terzini went on to open Otto in Woolloomooloo and, a year later, Nove.  In 2002, along with long time business partner and friend Robert Marchetti, Terzini opened Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, and in 2006 North Bondi Italian Food.  As if running two successful restaurants in one city was not hard enough, Robert and Maurizio opened Giuseppe, Arnaldo & Sons in Melbourne, in honor of their fathers.  Giuseppe, Arnaldo & Sons were awarded with two hats this year, along with Best New Interior Design, all in their first year of being open.  Les Schirato, managing director of Vittoria Coffee, says he chose Terzini because he is “a hands-on restaurateur with an amazing attention to detail, who continually reinvents classic Italian style without compromising on his trademark levels of excellence”.

Vittoria Coffee continues to supply more Sydney Morning Herald “Hatted” restaurants than any other brand of coffee.  Included in this years awards were the editor’s picks for which we are extremely proud of Café Sopra who won Favourite Mediterranean and North Bondi Italian Food with Favourite food-with-a-view.  Vittoria’s success stems from the success of our clients and we would like to congratulate our many award winning restaurants.
