Les Schirato has been honored with this year’s CIRA Award, for his outstanding contribution to Italian Culinary Culture.
CIRA is made up of a council of twelve Italian-Australian restaurateurs forming a non-profit association for cultural and educational purposes, to promote the values of Italian food in Australia. CIRA aims to safeguard Italian culinary cultures and increase public knowledge of both traditional and evolving values in Italian foods.
CIRA also works at encouraging informed experimentation in the industry and supports members to strive for excelling in their respective niches.
Les Schirato is honored to be presented with the 2008 CIRA Award. Proud of his Italian heritage Les continues to strive to promote Italian culture in Australia with Vittoria Coffee and a broad range of imported Italian products.
