I have an Aldi coffee maker for years and I love the coffee it makes.

Then I saw in Coles the Vittoria powder coffee at a promotional price. I’m really no fan of coffee powder. But, I thought, why not, always handy to have as a backup and a change. I bought two.

Both were a great surprise! We finished them in a week and I ordered, I think five directly from Vittorio online. And we have have given our loyal Aldi machine a well-deserved holiday.

There is one critical remark. The first bottles I bought were about $8 each. Then the next week at Coles they were $12 each, the the online purchase came to $10 each and while I was waiting for delivery of the online order, I saw them in the store 2 for $10. I dislike that playing around with the price and I’m not going to buy any more if they are not on special or under the $10 each. And so I warned my sons and friends to whom I recommended them. By the time we’ll have finished what’s left, my Aldi coffee maker will be back from vacation and I brew the pods again. Pity, your promotion policy is failing, as far as I’m concerned, and irritating.
