Developed using state of the art equipment alongside Australia's leading cafes. This blend performs best at a temperature of 92 degrees and only suitable for machines with accurate temperature control.

We blend Edwin’s beans with the Brazil, Sumatran and other Colombian origin and measure for moisture. We adjust the temperature and roasting time on our 300kg Probat R1500 drum roasters. It’s a slower process compared to air roasting, but it’s a more controlled method that allows us to achieve a consistent roast profile to bring out the vibrant flavours in this specialty blend. 

Our roasting process includes 23 steps measuring a range of critical variables before, during and after the roasting process. Our latest addition to our quality lab is the Metrohm Omnis system, the only one in Australia, which allows us to scientifically analyse coffee for acidity, pH, density, brix, total dissolved solids, and caffeine levels. By combining these precise measurements with our sensory testing, we gain a comprehensive understanding of this blend’s unique profile.

    I will be trying more lab release blends,yum.

    I usually can't taste the flavours that the tasting notes say you will be able to taste. However, with this blend I can taste raspberries and maple syrup. It is a very tasty blend, quite mild and well rounded.

    Not nice

    It was very bitter had no crema. One friend said it made them feel sick, my wife hated it.

    I tried it with milk and black, it was just an unpleasant coffee.

    Expected better

    This was ordered as the coffee is meant to be roasted locally - so I expected it to be fresh (we only live 10 minutes away).

    However when I received it, not only did the package NOT have a "roasted on" date (as I had hoped) but it didn't even have a Use By date (like you'd see in the supermarket offerings).

    Not happy Jan. Overall, the coffee is quite mild. Not for me.

    Gentle perfection

    Accurately described by Vitoria: a mild roast in flavour intensity, however, soft on the palate allowing a full expression of subtle flavours. A hint of caramel, ‘ mocca’ and ,of course, delicate coffee balanced smoothly - with no acrid or muddy issues often in lesser quality blends.

    It's nothing special, I was expecting a real stand out coffee but was disappointed.

    High bitterness with a very standard coffee taste.
