Bought these as my usual beans weren't available. Had to turn my grind setting several steps finer than it was set for last of the 3 month old bag of cafe supplied beans I was finishing (takes a while to go thru 1kg at 1 cup/day). That was a very bad sign.
The Vittoria beans are so dry I simply can't generate pressure, end up with channelling if I grind finer even with a long pre-infusion to compensate, it's like they're stale straight from the bag but they're only ~4 weeks from roast date and were unopened. Giving these away would be like gifting stale bread, straight in the rubbish bin, what a waste
