Often twice the size of a normal coffee bean, the Maragogype is a unique Arabica varietal known as the “Elephant Bean”. It’s famously difficult to harvest, requiring rich volcanic soil, a tropical climate and ample shade to prosper. Due to its low yield, only a few plantations in the world continue to grow the Maragogype, with Nicaragua being the single largest remaining producer, and for over 25 years Vittoria Coffee has sourced this rare varietal.

    Great flavourful coffee.

    Really enjoyed this coffee & happy to finally find pods with a decent strength & I've tried heaps before trying Vittoria brand, even though I usually drink black coffee, Maragogype even shines in a latte or cap & doesn't loose all it's flavour in the milk which is the norm with coffee pods.

    One more blend to try in Inca Peru but so far this is my go to pod.

    Great flavour

    This is a fantastically smooth coffee, even when being blasphemous and drinking with milk. The info and tasting notes in the description are accurate and standard postage was fast and trouble free

    Nice intensity!

    Love the flavour! Usually have as a smaller latte. Too much milk can overpower taste. Prefer equal ratio - coffee to milk.
